Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing is very popular inside
Mount Rainier National park in the winter on the trails at Paradise and throughout the
park on the glaciers in the summer.
Downhill skiing and snowboarding is found outside the Park at the popular Crystal
Mountain Ski Area and the Whitepass Ski Area.
